Gareth Southgate of England Football confirms his roster numbers

The confirmed England World Cup squad numbers, which include Jack Grealish donning the desired No. 7 and James Maddison donning No. 25, may provide some insight into which England Football Gareth Southgate will start with. Football World Cup fans can England Vs USA Tickets from our website.

The players now know what number will be on their backs during the competition after all of them modelled their new team attire at a Nike event on Monday. Harry Maguire (6), John Stones (5), Luke Shaw (3), and Kyle Walker (2), who may play in the preferred back line, have received lesser numbers.

Jack Grealish wears No. 7, while Raheem Sterling wears No. 10. The fact that Marcus Rashford will play with the No. 11 should help his prospects of having a key future role. The forward has rediscovered form just in time after not playing for the Three Lions since the Euro 2020 championship game.

After receiving the No. 1 jersey, Jordan Pickford appears to be destined to remain in the goalie position. Receiving the No. 25 shirt, however, might not motivate me.

On Monday, England will play Iran in the opening encounter of their tournament, followed by games against the United States and Wales. A new clothing line created in partnership with England and Marks & Spencer to showcase the team’s distinctiveness and personality has just been released.

It includes merino wool separates, casual, and contemporary tailoring, footwear, and accessories. Before their departure for Qatar, Southgate has already made clear his strategy for the upcoming few days, stating that time spent on the practice field will be severely constrained.

The Three Lions manager said at his squad announcement

At the squad announcement, the Three Lions manager stated: “With the players, we want to talk to them about the excitement of going to a World Cup.” We want to help with that. For the first few days, we won’t be on the practice field. Except for a few players who will require action.

We want them to concentrate on England instead of a demanding club schedule. We want to discuss how with them. The last four weeks have been the second-best stretch in English football history, regardless of what happens in the remaining four. It can be improved upon by us.

The challenge attitude, they say. How can we take the supporters back on the adventure they took last summer and four years ago? That is the rationale behind it, and it sets playing for England apart.

England will have less than a week to get used to the challenging conditions before they take the field when their flight to Qatar is scheduled for Tuesday.

In his journal from four months ago, Callum Wilson predicted that England will participate in the 2022 World Cup.

Newcastle striker Callum Wilson claims that four months before being selected for Gareth Southgate’s World Cup roster, he wrote the phrase “pack for Qatar” in his diary.

The 30-year-old was selected for England’s 26-man squad despite not having participated in an international game since 2019. Wilson has six Premier League goals this season despite recent injury issues. Football World Cup fans can England Vs Wales Tickets from our website.

“It couldn’t have come at a healthier time,” he said on the Footballer’s Football Podcast.

“I was going through my diary the other day, and I hadn’t used it in a few months, and I had written ‘pack for Qatar’ on Sunday’s date.”

“I simply believe in the power of visualization and affirmations. People asked me where I was going for the winter break a few weeks ago, and I said Qatar.”

How he found out about his England selection

“It was insane. To be honest, I was taken aback,” Wilson said.

“You hope you get in there, you’re wanting and praying, and you think you’ve done enough, but nothing is set in stone until you get that message.”

When I got in from the practice field, the guys were like, ‘Cal, have you not heard anything?’ It should be time!’ I noticed Tripp’s sitting there smiling, so I assumed he had a message for me, but I didn’t.

“I checked my phone, but there were no notifications from the England setup. Then I went to the archive because I hadn’t been in the squad in a long time and the archive message was there.”

Wilson explained that he tried not to give away whether or not he had been chosen before the official announcement. Others, however, were congratulating him before the squad was released.

“I just kept a straight face, and the lads were like, ‘you’re not smiling, and you’re not disappointed,’ so I said, ‘we’ll see,’” Wilson explained.

“I was getting messages saying congratulations and I supposed the squad hasn’t even been announced yet so how do people even know,” he added.

“My phone was blowing up, and it was too much for me. Even at my best, I despise responding; I’m the worst person. ‘I can’t handle this,’ I thought.”

Regarding his expectations for Qatar

After making his last appearance for England in 2019, when he came off the bench in a 6-0 Euro qualifying win over Bulgaria, Wilson is thrilled to be representing his nation at a major tournament. The forward, who was born in Coventry, is confident that England can improve on their Euro 2016 campaign, where they lost to Italy in the championship game.

“It’s a proud moment for me and my family to put on the Three Lions badge again,” he said.

“I don’t want it to be just the World Cup squad and nothing else.” Now that the place is mine, I don’t want to give it up. I’ve worked hard to reclaim my position, and I’m not about to give it up easily.”

“I think this group of players, the squad, the manager, it has all the ingredients for success,” he said.

“Last year, the boys advanced to the Euros final. I was watching from the stands and thinking to myself, ‘that needs to be me, I need to get back to that level.’ I’ll be on the other side of the white line this time.”

“Despite not having played an international match since 2019, the 30-year-old was named to England’s 26-man squad. Wilson, who has had injury problems in recent years, has six Premier League goals this season.”

Wilson claimed that he made an effort not to say whether he had or not. Despite not having, the 26-man squad for England. has since 2019 taken part in a game on a global scale.

Wilson, despite recent injury difficulties, has six Premier League goals this season. major event after choosing not to participate. He last played for England in a 6-0 victory over Bulgaria in a Euro qualifying game in 2019.

England Rugby World Cup

England Rugby World Cup shirt appraisal 2022-23

England Rugby World Cup: Your eyes aren’t misleading you – that’s England once again wearing a black away jersey, this time against Argentina. The rationale is the potential to avoid a rugby kit clash as we will allegedly get for Ireland versus South Africa, with England’s traditional white possibly blurring into Los Pumas‘ white hoops.

Rugby World Cup fans can book Rugby World Cup tickets from our online platform xchangetickets.com. Rugby fans can book the England Rugby World Cup Tickets on our website at exclusively discounted prices.

So they’ve gone dimmer. What do you make of it?

It’s surely a change from the norm – but the present stock of home shirts isn’t the plain white numbers we’re used to either. So if you’re preparing to cheer for England women in the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand or shout for the men during the Autumn Nation Series, you might want to take a look at the best contracts we could find for them – and read our appraisals of the shirts too.

England Rugby World Cup men’s home shirt

The latest England Rugby World Cupmen’s shirt features red specifying with hoops on the sleeve and squint and you might see a hint of the St George’s flag in visuals at the bottom of the shirt.

According to builder Umbro: “Inspired by architectural details from Twickenham the England Home Replica Jersey is an eye-infectious style both on the pitch and in the stands. Featuring a graphic front body, the saddle covers are detailed with a bold double barred print for a fresh upbeat look.”

Umbro also states that this shirt is made with a “micro-rib crew neckline collar”, back neck tape, flat armor-plated seams, and twin needle stitching.

You can also buy now from Umbro for £75.

Or from Lovell Rugby for £75.

RW’s review:

This shirt is a lot fuller than we are used to seeing from England men – traditionally all of them went into England’s away or ‘third’ shirts. Here there’s a lot more going on.

A bit more character is great, though with the detailing tiptoeing up from the bottom of the men’s shirt, you wonder if it would have looked healthier coming down from the top, much more similar in style to the women’s shirt, below. Either way, there will be no missing England men this fall. To know more about England Vs Argentina Tickets click here.

England women’s home shirt

Standing out and looking different in their Rugby World Cup shirt is England women.

Builder Umbro says they are “Proud to be introducing the second bespoke kit for the Red Roses, highlighting their clear point of alteration for this World Cup year. Detailed with the architecturally inspired print at the top of the sweater, the sleeves are tipped with a flash of red.”

This shirt is just for the Rugby World Cup – they will be sporting a shirt almost undistinguishable from the men after, and you can find that shirt at Umbro for £75.

The deal overhead for the World Cup jersey could be yours for £56.25 via England Rugby Stock, but you can also find it on Lovell Rugby for £75.

RW’s review:

We like it. The information on the top of the shirt just feels lovely and badass.

It also greeneries the rest of the shirt clean and neat. So while you advantage of all the best of contemporary tech in shirt manufacturing, it does not overly cry as a shirt. It just feels kind of right.

England Rugby World Cup black away shirt

Memory when England wore a dark away shirt for the Rugby World Cup in 2011? A time many have instinctive themselves to forget. Well, England is at it again, with this other number with a “subtle stripe design” on it, and the publicity spin is very much to sell this as a shirt you could attire any day, not just when the competition is on.

That’s confidently calmer to do when it’s a darker shirt.

You can also get the shirt from Lovell Rugby for £75 or via Umbro at £75.

RW’s review

We like the brittleness of the bands on the front and although the O2 logo yawns away on the front there looking huge as the white-on-black bangs out more, all else works well together. So much so that we’d what the lack of a collar. One of England’s best pointers for an away shirt for the selected time.

Sinckler reminiscences ‘surreal’ England talk before the Rugby World Cup win over All Blacks

Kyle Sinckler has lifted the lid on the “surreal” team session that left him certain England would beat the All Blacks and reach the Rugby World Cup final in 2019, labeling the two sides’ first session since then “big-boy rugby”.

Eddie Jones well brought a samurai sword into the session and sliced kiwi fruit in two to convince his squad how New Zealand could be beaten. Sinckler, fresh from counting a try in the quarter-final win over Australia, recalls that the whole team was transfixed by Jones’s left-field change and that England was left-hand in no doubt that they would beat the All Blacks six days advance.

England wrinkled up in a V-shape in reply to the haka before kick-off and then proceeded to deliver arguably their best performance under Jones, with Manu Tuilagi scoring an early try in a 19-7 win in Yokohama – the first time they had beaten the All Blacks since 2012.

Sinckler said:

Sinckler said: “We had a team session on Sunday which is very strange. Usually, Sunday is a day off, and you never really see Eddie, but he called a players’ meeting at 9 am. I’ll never forget that session, in terms of how we set the week up with our gameplan – putting weight on them, we’re going at them, walking towards the danger. It was strange knowledge as we had no doubt after that conference we were going to win.

“How several eras have we seen [squads] walk towards the haka and New Zealand put 50 points on them? We felt if we were going to do that we were required to back it up. It was one of those rare moments in your career where all went to plan.” To know more about England Vs Japan Tickets click here.
Saturday’s competition will be the All Blacks’ first tour to Twickenham since 2018

England has not compressed them at home since Tuilagi ran amok 10 years ago. New Zealand is on a six-match charming streak and, though Scotland gave them a huge scare on Sunday, Sinckler, who first met the All Blacks when on behalf of the British & Irish Lions in 2017, trusts their physicality sets them apart.

He added: “They can do the showy stuff but the nuts and bolts of their game are very imposing. That was one of the main eye-openers for me when I first played New Zealand. Jesus, these guys are physical. We’ve got to make sure we bring our ‘A’ game since, if we don’t, they are a world-class outfit. And, for me, it’s just ultimate thankfulness to be in a position to do what I love. Big-boy rugby now!”

Sinckler has ongoing both of England’s autumn matches to date have missed the back end of the Six Nations and the summer tour of Australia with a back injury. Jones later said that, at his best, Sinckler is the leading tighthead prop in the world, but the 29-year-old revealed how incapacitating his back injury had been as he brands his way back to top form.

Rugby World Cup

“For me to be out there, pain-free, playing again and receiving back to where I know I can get to, I’ve just got ultimate thankfulness for that,” he said. “I had chronic, chronic pain. I’m very fortunate because I’m an expert athlete and we have good physics at the club, and I’ve got my team outdoors. Every minute of the day was around my rehab and I just thought: ‘Imagine if you were just a normal person who had a domestic and was doing a nine-to-five and you were feeling this stuff.’ I don’t know how they would get through that.

“My heart goes out to people commerce with lingering pain because there are some dark times. I would think: ‘Am I ever going to play again?’ I was in so much pain. I couldn’t sit down. I couldn’t put my shoes and my hits on. I was bed-bound for three or four months.”

RUGBY WORLD CUP PEDIGREE

HONG KONG

Since the 1995 competition, Hong Kong has tried to qualify for a Rugby World Cup, but they have so far been unable to do so and secure a spot at the championship game.

However, it was a loss to Chinese Taipei in the RWC 2003 qualifying campaign that cost them dearly. In the early years, their growth was frequently halted by Japan, the dominant team in Asia.

In the repechage for the RWC 2015, Hong Kong’s interest was ended when they fell to Uruguay, and in the round-robin event for the RWC 2019, they failed, placing second-to-last in the four-team competition in Marseilles.

KENYA

Similar to Hong Kong, Kenya made an attempt to qualify for the RWC 1995, but losses to Zimbabwe and Namibia terminated their chances before a victory over the Arabian Gulf.

The Simbas have participated in the qualifying rounds for every Rugby World Cup since, but they have not yet advanced to the main competition.

After overcoming Namibia and putting themselves in an excellent position to qualify for the 2015 RWC, Kenya narrowly missed out on both a trip to England and a spot in the playoffs due to a loss to Zimbabwe.

Four years later, their final qualifying match loss to Namibia prevented them from directly qualifying for the 2019 RWC. Despite having done enough to qualify for the second round, they fell to Canada, Hong Kong, and Germany in all three of their games in Marseille.

PORTUGAL

Portugal has only only participated in one Rugby World Cup, which took place in France in 2007.

Then, Os Lobos waited until the very last second to defeat Uruguay on the road to qualifying.

Os Lobos lost to their South American opponents 18-12 in the return match in Montevideo, but as a result of their 12-5 triumph over Los Teros in the first leg in Lisbon, they were able to come out on top 24-23.

The outcome atoned for Portugal’s severe setback to Uruguay in the Repechage matchup in 1999.

Portugal earned a spot in Pool C for the actual event, where they will play New Zealand, Scotland, Italy, and Romania.

In front of a sizable Portuguese crowd in St. Etienne, Portugal lost against Scotland 56-10 to start their tournament, with winger Pedro Cabral scoring their first-ever Rugby World Cup try.

A less motivated team might have fallen apart after losing 108-13 to New Zealand in their second match, but Os Lobos finished the competition strongly with a respectable 31-5 loss to Italy and then in a tight game against Romania, the Oaks prevailed 14-10 but only after scoring two converted tries in the fourth quarter.

Portugal achieved their goal of scoring at least one try in every game by finishing their first Rugby World Cup campaign beaten in every game but unbeaten.

USA

With the exception of RWC 1995, the USA has played in every tournament, making them the team with the most Rugby World Cup experience entering the Final Qualification Tournament.

On May 24, 1987, at Ballymore in Brisbane, Australia, they made their Rugby World Cup debut by defeating Japan 21-18 after a late comeback.

They then suffered losses to Australia and England, and it took them 16 years to record their second tournament victory.

That triumph came in 2003 when the competition returned to Australia after winless pool phase exits at RWC 1991 and RWC 1999. At Central Coast Stadium, the USA ran in five tries to defeat Japan once more, winning 39-26.

Since that night in Gosford, the USA has only triumphed in one Rugby World Cup match, a 13-6 victory over Russia at RWC 2011, which was also played in the southern hemisphere, with Mike Petri scoring the only try of the game.

On the grandest stage, the USA has thus far struggled to go past the quarterfinals, but on their most recent Rugby World Cup appearance, they came close to winning the event for the fourth time.

The Eagles led Tonga 12-7 at halftime of their final Pool C encounter of the 2019 RWC thanks to two tries from Mike Te’o.

Tonga, on the other hand, outscored the USA three tries to one in the second half to win 31-19 and send the USA’s opponents home after just one win in four Rugby World Cup appearances.

WORLD RANKINGS SINCE LAST RUGBY WORLD CUP

HONG KONG

Even though they have only participated in four tests since Japan in 2019, Hong Kong has managed to move up two spots in the World Rugby Men’s Rankings powered by Capgemini.

Hong Kong was ranked in 24th place with 59.65 points back in November 2019, but they are now 22nd with two positions and 1.38 points higher (61.03 points).

If Hong Kong defeats Portugal in their opening match at the Final Qualification Tournament, they will be within reach of a spot in the top 20 in the world.

KENYA

Since the last Rugby World Cup, Kenya has only played seven tests, winning four of them, but they have dropped one spot in the standings.

At the beginning of November 2019, the Simbas were placed 32nd with 52.55 points. Three years later, they are now ranked 33rd with 52.06.

If Kenya wins their first match against the United States this weekend, they could move up as many as five spots.

PORTUGAL

It is hardly surprising that Os Lobos have improved in the rankings during the current Rugby World Cup cycle, which is seen as a moment of triumph for Portugal.

Even though moving up one spot to 20th may not seem like much of an acceleration, the rating score’s increase from 61.34 to 65.08 tells you everything you need to know about the direction they are moving in.

Regarding the upcoming weekend, regardless of how the Eagles perform in their first game against lower-ranked Kenya, Portugal will overtake the USA in 19th if they defeat Hong Kong.

USA

The USA has been through a transition during the last three years, which is reflected by the team’s minor decline in the rankings.

The Eagles were rated 17th with 68.10 points after the conclusion of RWC 2019, however they have since dropped two spots to 19th and almost three rating points, entering the Final Qualification Tournament with a score of 65.17.

As they cannot improve their score against Kenya due to the 13.11 point discrepancy between the two countries, USA may fall further in the rankings this weekend.

FORM GUIDE

HONG KONG

Hong Kong has very limited test rugby history entering the Final Qualification Tournament.

Hong Kong has only played on the field four times since the last Rugby World Cup ended, winning two and losing two of those games.

Hong Kong gained some new experiences during a European tour at the end of 2019 when they played Belgium and Spain away for the first time.

The team had a 36-17 victory in Brussels before losing to Los Leones 29-7, but things seemed to be going well for them until COVID-19 struck.

Because to travel limitations, Hong Kong’s 15s test rugby was suspended for two and a half years. Then, due to the financial effects of the global pandemic, the program’s status was changed from a full-time to a part-time one.

However, Hong Kong made a triumphant return, defeating Korea 23-21 in Incheon thanks to a last-second penalty kick. As a result, Hong Kong was guaranteed a spot in the Asia-Pacific Qualifier and the opportunity to win a direct flight to France in 2023.

The ‘Ikale Tahi won the match against Tonga 44–22 on neutral Australian soil, as most observers had predicted they would.

However, Hong Kong’s performance, particularly in the match’s closing moments, gives them reason for confidence and something to work on going into the Final Qualification Tournament for a team that had so little time to prepare behind them under a new head coach.

KENYA

Kenya enters the Final Qualification Tournament in decent shape, having only lost twice in their previous six games, both times to Namibia.

The Simbas did not play on the field between September 2019 and July 2021 as a result of the pandemic’s effects.

When Kenya did return to the field to begin their RWC 2023 qualifying campaign, Senegal humiliated them 20-19, and Kenya gave up the game-winning converted try in the waning seconds.

Kenya bounced back to defeat Zambia 45-8 and restart their qualification campaign. They finished the year with a training camp in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

While there, the Simbas played Namibia and Brazil. In their first encounter, although they were ahead 24-19 at the half against their African opponents, they fell down 60-24 as their opponents scored seven tries after the break.

Once more, the Simbas bounced back, and six days later, they scored five tries to defeat Brazil 36-30 at Markötter Stadium in a 66-point thriller.

Kenya defeated Algeria and Uganda in July’s Rugby Africa Cup 2022 in France to advance to a winner-take-all match against Namibia. However, a 36-0 loss in Aix-en-Provence put an end to the Simbas’ aspirations of securing straight qualification to RWC 2023.

PORTUGAL

Portugal qualified for Dubai by placing third overall in the Rugby Europe Championship standings for 2021 and 202.

Os Lobos’ 25-25 draw with Georgia in Tbilisi marked the beginning of the second half of the qualification campaign’s high point; nonetheless, results, though not performances, declined as the year went on.

Their chances for automatic qualification were dashed after a key 37-27 loss to Romania in Bucharest, but a match against the struggling Netherlands got them back on track as Os Lobos won 59-3.

Then came the stretch of four losses leading up to the Final Qualification Tournament, though three of them were against teams who were rated higher.

Portugal’s Rugby Europe Championship campaign came to a disappointing conclusion after Spain defeated them 33-28 in Madrid.

The Italian team visited Portugal after their Six Nations triumph over Wales, and although coming out on the losing end of the scoreboard this time (38–31), Portugal lost.

Following their comeback from a halftime disadvantage, the South Americans fell to an Argentina XV 52-35.

Additionally, Portugal forced their opponents Georgia work hard in their most recent match in Kutaisi in July to win 23-14.

USA

The USA would have advanced to the RWC 2023 and would have been preparing for matches against England, Japan, Argentina, and Samoa in Pool D had it not been for Santiago Videla’s last-second penalty in Glendale.

They had won the first leg of their Americas 2 play-off against Chile 22-21 in Santiago, and they appeared to have done all the hard work because they were up going into the final 10 minutes of the second.

Sport, however, involves razor-thin margins, and the USA’s performance since the RWC 2019 has been at best patchy.

When the squad resumed play in July 2021, they suffered crushing losses to England and Ireland but kept their hopes of winning a trip to France alive with a 59-50 aggregate victory over longtime rivals Canada.

Victory enabled a two-leg Americas 1 play-off against Uruguay. However, after winning 19-16 at home, Uruguay lost 34-15 in Montevideo, dropping the tie 50-34 overall.

After losing to the All Blacks 104-14 in Washington, Eagles supporters had reason for optimism after Houston’s 26-21 victory over the French Barbarians.

That was put out at Infinity Park by a kick from Videla, and the USA now travels to Dubai having won only three of their nine tests since Japan.

FIFA World Cup 2022: Portugal Full Squad Announced, Key Players, Best First XI

The FIFA World Cup 2022 will be our favorite superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s  fifa final World Cup. This is Portugal’s final possibility to win the tournament for the first time in the attendance of one of the greatest players of all time. Portugal, similar to every European-team, has a good team but also has a little loopholes. Another thing that is very imposing is that Portugal has a relatively higher squad depth in FIFA World Cup 2022. Here is an in depth-look:

FIFA World Cup 2022: Portugal Squad:

Manager: Fernando-Santos

Forwards: Rafael-Leao (AC-Milan), Ricardo-Horta (Braga), Andre-Silva (RB-Leipzig), Goncalo-Ramos (Benfica), Cristiano-Ronaldo (Manchester-United), Joao-Felix (Atletico-Madrid).

Midfielders: Rube-Neves (Wolves), Bruno-Fernandes (Manchester-United), Bernardo-Silva (Manchester-City), William (Real-Betis), Palhinha (Fulham), Vitinha (PSG), Otavio (Porto), Matheus Nunes (Wovles), Joao-Mario (Benfica).

Defenders: Joao-Cancelo (Manchester-City), Rube- Dias (Mancheste- City), Danil- Pereira (PSG), Antonio-Silva (Benfica), Diogo-Dalot (Manchester-United), Pepe (Porto), Nuno-Mendes (PSG), R. Guerrerio (Dortmund)

Goalkeepers: Diog- Costa (Porto), Jose-SA (Wolves), Rui-Patarico (Roma).

Key Players:

Joao Cancelo:

If there is one player in the back line that has lately been in the form of his life, it has to be Joao-Cancelo. Cancelo has a pure pace. He is currently playing in the best league on the planet and is also playing for one of the most financially competent clubs. Cancelo has a assortment to offer to the men in red and green. He is an attacking midfielder and will make chances for players similar to Bruno-Fernandes. Joao is very difficult to get free of. Once you are on his wing, Joao will get attached to you like a attraction. This is precisely how Manchester City has used him over the years.

Bruno Fernandes:

Cristiano-Ronaldo and Bruno-Fernandes are of equal importance to this team. Bruno is the player who is going to make the goal-scoring opportunity for the team. He is the one who will provide for the ball to Cristiano-Ronaldo. He will make the vital passes. Bruno has been doing this job very professionally for Manchester-United. With that life form said, he will also have to do this job for Portugal. He will develop chemistry with players similar to Cristiano-Ronaldo and Joao-Felix.

Prediction for FIFA World Cup 2022:

Portugal is placed in Group-H with Ghana, Uruguay, and South-Korea. They may not seem solid favorites with Uruguay in the mix but they are surely going to qualify for the next round. My forecast for Portugal is that the team will be a surprise package and will qualify for the semi-finals as well.

Cristiano Ronaldo & Man Utd – what comes next for the Portugal forward?

In the aftermath of Manchester-United’s thrilling 2-1 injury-time victory at Fulham on Sunday, Erik-ten-Hag allowed himself to reproduce on the developments at Old Trafford since he became manager in the summer.

.I think we have a base. We are going in the right direction. I think the culture has changed; the attitude, the state of mind has changed and that is good. Today, I think, is the sign of it, when you get the win in the last disappearing seconds of the game.

At about the same time, United’s staff were organism informed that ‘togetherness’ did not comprise everyone.

They did not know then – and still donot know now – the full degree of the attack being unleash on them by Cristiano-Ronaldo. Unless the situation-changes, they will have to wait with everyone else to watch on tube Piers Morgan’s interview with the player they pay £500,000 a week.

Glazers don’t care about Man Utd, says Cristiano Ronaldo

In excerpt of the interview released on Sunday, Cristiano-Ronaldo said he feels “betrayed” by the club, does not admiration manager Ten Hag and is being compulsory out.

In a new clip on Monday, Cristiano-Ronaldo claimed directors at the club did not believe him when he said he had to miss the start of pre-season training because his daughter and partner were in hospital.

Previous on Monday, the club had said in a statement: Manchester United notes the media reporting regarding an interview by Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been recognized.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo undroppable for Portugal?

After Cristiano-Ronaldo refused to go on to the playing field as a late substitute during the victory over Tottenham on 19 October, United made it totally clear behind the scenes that they backed Ten Hag to deal with the situation. He punctually stood the 37-year-old down for the following weekend’s game at Chelsea.

It is now known Cristiano-Ronaldo accepts his conduct that night was wrong. Though, he remains adamant Ten Hag’s intended decision was a public show of disrespect.

In a radio interview with Talksport on Monday, Morgan said the move contradict Ten Hag’s clarification for his failure to bring Cristiano-Ronaldo on during the 6-3 Manchester derby defeat at Etihad Stadium two-and-a-half weeks earlier, which he said, under the situation, would have been rude.

There was a important difference in the two games. United was 4-0 down at half-time in the first. After 80 minutes, the score was 6-1. There was clearly nothing at stake other than limiting the size of a embarrassing defeat. Next to Tottenham, they went into the final ten minutes defending a 2-goal lead next to a top-4th competitor after run of picking up four points from 3 games. Christian-Eriksen was introduced with 3 minutes to go that night, as was youngster Anthony-Elanga.

Former United captain Gary-Neville was not alone in thinking Cristiano-Ronaldo had crossed a line that night and it would be better for all parties if his former team-mate was released straight away.

Though, in explaining his position in an extended press conference two days after the Tottenham game, he said something that goes to the heart of the issue.

I have to take the decisions in the interests of the club and the team especially, that is my job, he said. It does not matter who it is, the age or the reputation.

Cristiano-Ronaldo has won every honour in the game multiple times

In other words, it doesn’t matter that Cristiano-Ronaldo has won every honour in the game multiple times, has been crowned Ballon d’Or winner on five occasions and is extensively acknowledged to be one of the best players ever. In Ten Hag’s eyes, he is just another player. And the atrocious truth is, this season, he has not delivered, either in terms of goals scored or overall contribution.

Beyond saying they need to establish the full facts behind the interview, which Cristiano-Ronaldo obviously did not have permission for, United are keeping their powder dry.

They are privately unhappy at some of the specific allegations Cristiano-Ronaldo is making about life behind the scenes at the club, pointing out that the restaurant and menu have been overhaul, that upgrades are being made to the gym and that the training ground is different to the one the Portuguese left in 2009.

There is also unhappiness at Cristian- Ronaldo’s claim he is being forced out by executives given he was decided sympathetic leave and allowed to miss the summer tour of Thailand and Australia by senior figures at the club, even when the move was being questioned by others.

But he did get to see James play for Wales and score on his entrance against Slovakia two months previously. “It was an expressive one,” James told BBC Sport Wales. “I was so eager that he got to see me playing for Wales. He didn’t get to see me in Euros and he won’t get to see me in the World Cup, but I’m unquestionable he will be looking down and be very proud. “Yorkshire-born James now plays his club football at Fulham and scored against former club United at the break.

He said he owes his expert career to his dad, who got him complicated in a Wales camp when he was 12.”He was only able to do that because he sent the person to say that he was Welsh and that I qualified to play for Wales, then I would not have been in the set-up,” James clarified. It was as a result of James Wales’s participation that he was picked up by Swansea City’s school, making the move from Hull City when aged 16 in 2014.

“He was the one that let me go depressed to Swansea to play for them,” he added. “It was firm for my mum and my dad to let me go since they wouldn’t see me as much, but I wouldn’t be here nowadays without that. “Wales kick off their first Football World Cup movement in 64 years against the United States on Monday, 21 November, with James – who has been an even under Robert Page – forestalling a “goose-bump instant”.

“Every time I sing the national anthem it’s very expressive, but after you have got to come back down to earth because you have got a willingness to play,” he added. “The Wales fans will be out there. That is massive for us since they weren’t at the last Euros unsuitably. I am just glad that they can come and provision us.”

Wales Football World Cup name wound doubt, Joe Allen, in a 26-man squad

Robert Page has named his 26-man squad for Wales’ first World Cup in 64 years, with midfielder Joe Allen comprised notwithstanding being a major injury doubt. Gareth Bale skippers have a squad that has no surprising inclusions or oversights. Page had before indicated he had already obvious on the majority of the 26 players he would be taking to Qatar World Cup, and that was evident at Wednesday’s statement in his hometown of Tylorstown in the Rhondda valley as he stuck to a tried and right-hand team. His biggest injury concern is influential midfielder Allen, who is named in the squad despite not playing for Swansea City since hurting his constrain in September.

Swans head coach Russell Martin has long-established Allen will not play for the Championship side

Before the World Cup, Wales still hopes the 32-year-old will be able to play a certain part in Qatar, even if he is not fit sufficiently to start against the United States. “It’s not ideal if I’m honest but we’re giving him every chance to get him fit to get into the starting XI for the first willing,” said Page.

“There’s a couple of other players in a similar boat but Joe’s been so significant to me overall the last twosome of years, how I want to play and how he sits in front of the back four.

“He’s one of those from 2016 [European Championship] when they had the achievement and when he was playing well, Wales were winning sports.

“Again he’s made the right to be there. I spoke to him two days ago and in optimistic.

There is better news concerning captain Bale, who has at least been playing for his club side, Los Angeles FC. However, the 33-year-old said he was “not 100%” fit after scoring a vital late goal in LAFC’s MLS Cup final victory over Philadelphia Union last weekend.

The former Real Madrid player has made just two starts – plus 11 supernumerary appearances – for LAFC

Since connecting with the American club in June. Bale has been integral to Wales’ recent success – they have qualified for three of the past four major contests having touched only one before that – and will be their stone once more at the Football World Cup. “Rather would we want him to play more minutes? Of sequence,” said Page. To know more about Iran Vs Wales Tickets click here.

“Am I worried? No, because he’s shown time and time again that regardless of how many minutes he’s played at club level he always comes in and has significant instants in the game, whether it’s a free-kick against Austria or Ukraine [in the Football World Cup play-off semi-final and final].

“Big players step up for big times. We’ve said it with Aaron [Ramsey] in the past – Hungary at home when he got two goals for us – and it’s no dissimilar with Gareth.

“Opposing managers will look at the team sheet and if they see his name they know at any instant he can win a game for you.”

Along with Bale and Allen, Wales Football World Cup goalkeepers Wayne Hennessey and Danny Ward, protectors Ben Davies and Chris Gunter, and midfielders Ramsey and Jonny Williams are the players who will be on behalf of Wales in a third major competition, having played at the past two European Finals. Nottingham Forest forwards Brennan Johnson, Cardiff City attacker Mark Harris and Huddersfield Town winger Sorba Thomas will be going to their first major competition.

“The worst part of this job is unsatisfactory the ones that are not in the 26,” said Page.

“The others I’ve not called to tell them they’re in, I’d rather them see it when [it is announced].

“That’s going to be nice for them to see but on the other side of it, there’s always going to be someone who’s dissatisfied.

“I’ve had a couple of uncomfortable chats – some through injury, some through choice.

“We’ve got to move forward now and pick the squad that will go and contests and go and wins us games.”
